PlongeeO, located in Hyères, France, is a dive center passionate about sharing the wonders of the underwater world. What people ask before booking
The minimum age varies by course. For FFESSM courses, it's generally 14 years old (sometimes 12 under specific conditions). For PADI courses, the minimum age for Open Water Diver is 10 years (Junior Open Water Diver) and 12 years for Rescue Diver (Junior Rescue Diver). For Divemaster, the minimum age is 18.
For all diving courses except baptisms and snorkeling, a medical certificate is required. You can download the model form to present to your doctor.
For SSI and PADI courses, the prices listed are often 'Hors KIT' (excluding the mandatory e-learning and certification kit). The cost of the kit varies between SSI (€150) and PADI (€220). For FFESSM courses, the price usually includes e-learning, license, and certification, but supplements may apply for the FFESSM license (€70) and certification card (€30).
