What people ask before booking
Generally, meeting times are 8:30 AM and 2:00 PM. For distant sites like Port-Cros, Le Grec, or Donator, the morning departure is earlier, around 7:30 AM. It's best to check the dive agenda for specific timings.
For Discover Scuba dives, discovery packs, and snorkeling, no medical certificate is needed. For all other activities (exploration and training), a medical certificate of 'non-contraindication to underwater activities' issued within the last year by a general practitioner is required. For Trimix diving or after a diving accident, a FFESSM-approved doctor is necessary.
The prices for exploration dives include the dive itself. Full equipment rental (cylinder, regulator, BCD, wetsuit, mask, snorkel, fins) costs an additional €15 per dive. Packages for multiple dives offer reduced rates. Specific supplements apply for certain sites like Donator, Grec, or Port-Cros, and for night dives.
Yes, Ulysse Plongée is equipped for Nitrox fills and offers Nitrox certifications ('Nitrox certifié' and 'Nitrox confirmé') for individuals or groups, often in the form of intensive courses.
The minimum age for a 'Baptême' (Discover Scuba Dive) is 8 years old. For children's training courses (Bronze, Silver, Gold diver levels), the age range is also 8 to 12 years. For Level 1 and PE12 certifications, the minimum age is 12.
Yes, Ulysse Plongée is a signatory of the partnership charter for diving in the Port-Cros National Park.
