What people ask before booking

La Paz offers comfortable diving conditions year-round. Water temperatures are pleasant, especially from summer to fall, reaching around 30 degrees Celsius. Whale shark season typically runs from October to April, while whale watching is best from January to March. Mobula ray sightings are common from April to June.

The Sea of Cortez is incredibly rich in biodiversity. You can expect to see playful sea lions, majestic manta rays, whale sharks, various species of whales, dolphins, turtles, sharks, and abundant reef fish. Shipwrecks also provide habitats for diverse marine life.

We are a PADI and SSI certified dive center, offering a full range of courses from beginner levels like Discovery Scuba and Open Water Diver to advanced and professional certifications such as Advanced Open Water, Rescue Diver, and Divemaster.

Our dive trips typically include a guide, national taxes, snacks, lunch, and drinks. For courses, this often extends to online theory, pool sessions, open water dives, and certification. Rental gear is often included or available, but marine park fees and tips for the captain and guide are usually extra.

Cancellations requested within a month of the departure date are non-refundable. No refunds are possible once your stay has begun. If Dive In La Paz cancels for any reason, a full refund will be issued. Due to weather conditions, dive sites may change at the last minute.
