Ametlla Diving, located in the charming town of L'Ametlla de Mar, Tarragona, presents itself as a professional and welcoming dive center. Certified by PADI and SSI, it offers a wide range of courses, from introductory experiences like Discover Scuba Diving and Open Water Diver, to advanced levels such as Advanced Open Water, Rescue Diver, and Divemaster. Ametlla Diving's facilities include free parking, lockers, a bar for relaxation, equipment rental, a dive shop, and air and nitrox fill stations. It is also one of the qualifications that are required in certain parts of the world to dive wrecks. You will learn to dive safely in the wrecks, also taking into account safety issues. Every wreck dive offers an opportunity to discover, decipher a mystery or spy on something others have missed, as well as the diverse underwater life that lurks within.
DRY SUIT
Do you have your own dry suit and don't know how to use it? Do you want to buy a dry suit but you are afraid to buy it and then not know how to use it? We teach you the basics of the use and care of dry suits.
PROPULSIONED VEHICLE (SCOOTER)
VPSs offer an exciting way for divers to see a lot of underwater territory in a short period of time. The vehicle takes you through the water allowing you to glide over reefs, zoom around large wrecks or rock through a kelp forest. Whether you're diving from shore or from a boat, a VPS is a great way to see more and have fun doing it.
SNORKEL PACK
Skin diving is snorkeling while freediving to observe aquatic life up close and personal. It's a great way to explore the underwater world when you can't scuba dive or if scuba diving isn't quite what you think. The PADI Skin Diver course teaches you how to enjoy observing life below the surface and comfortably venturing underwater for short visits, whether at a local freshwater lake or the great blue of the ocean, at home or on vacation in a destination diving... To enroll in a PADI Skin Diver course you must be at least 8 years old. You need to have adequate swimming skills and be comfortable in the water. No previous experience required. The PADI Skin Diver course teaches you about: How to choose, fit and use freediving equipment. Basic safety guidelines for moving through the water. Snorkeling and freediving techniques include checking buoyancy, surface swimming, emptying the water tube, and making effortless surface dives. Go on an optional freedive at the local dive site. advanced diver
The PADI Advanced courses are perfect for those PADI Open Water divers or equivalent (SSI, ACUC, FEDAS 1 *, etc.) who want to continue advancing in their training as a diver. The requirements to access this course are: Have the aforementioned degree log book Current diving insurance (if you do not have one you can do it directly at AmetllaDiving) During the course 5 dives are made, 2 of them are mandatory, the deep one and the orientation one. The rest of the dives, we can choose between: sunken ships, night, dry suit, buoyancy, nitrox, etc...
OPEN WATER DIVER
Entry-level scuba certification course. Learn fundamental open water diving skills. Includes theory, confined water practice and open water dives.
DIVING BAPTISM FOR CHILDREN
Is the little one in the house passionate about the sea? Do you watch documentaries of the ocean, of multicolored fish and do you want to see it in person? Well now, with the Bubblemaker program, the little ones can enjoy it! Bubblemaker is as fun as it sounds! The opportunity for children to release bubbles while diving… Children who are at least 8 years old can use the scuba equipment to breathe underwater and swim in shallow water, always accompanied by our PADI professionals. Throw a party or celebrate a birthday by organizing a memorable and exciting Bubblemaker event with friends and family at Ametlla Diving.
EFR INSTRUCTOR
The EFR Instructor Course is carried out in just one and a half days, during which Instructors are taught to organize, conduct and publicize First Aid Courses of the EFR organization. Certification as EFR Instructors is a requirement to be a PADI Instructor. The Course highlights the practices and demonstrations that build the self-confidence of the candidate. PADI Divemasters and Assistant Instructors, Diving Instructors from other organizations (FEDAS, SSI, ACUC) and those qualified medical professionals can also take the EFR Instructor course and thus be able to give their courses independently. Sí. Te pediremos demostrar 200 m de nado continuo (estilo libre) y 10 minutos flotando sin apoyo. No exigimos cronómetro, solo soltura en agua.
Si el centro cancela por condiciones del mar, te reasignamos sin coste extra a la siguiente fecha disponible. La decisión la toma el instructor jefe a las 7:00 del día de la salida.
Con lentillas blandas, sin problema. Si llevas gafas, ofrecemos máscaras graduadas estándar (-1 a -8 dioptrías) por 15 € de alquiler/día.
