About the Center
Buceo Las Negras is a dive center located in the picturesque village of Las Negras, nestled in the heart of the Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park in Almería, Spain. Established in 2006, this establishment offers premier diving experiences, providing PADI-certified courses for all levels, from Discover Scuba Diving to Divemaster, as well as specialties such as Boat Diving.
The center benefits from its prime location in one of the last untouched corners of the Mediterranean. The crystal-clear waters, hidden coves, and volcanic cliffs of the Natural Park provide a spectacular backdrop for diving and other active tourism pursuits. Buceo Las Negras organizes daily dive trips by boat and shore dives, conditions permitting, allowing divers to explore the rich marine life and geological beauty of the area.
As an active tourism company, Buceo Las Negras also offers a variety of other activities to enjoy the natural landscape. Visitors can rent kayaks to explore the coastline at their own pace, join boat tours that include explanations of the area's geology and history, or enjoy hiking routes through the Natural Park. Accommodation and equipment rental are available, along with a bar and restaurant for guest convenience. Buceo Las Negras also organizes international dive trips to destinations like South Africa, the Red Sea, the Maldives, and the Philippines.

What people ask before booking
The PADI Open Water Diver course price includes access to online theory, confined water or pool sessions, four open water dives up to a maximum depth of 18 meters, equipment rental, and certification.
To enroll in the PADI Scuba Diver course, you must be at least 14 years old, be able to swim 200 meters (with mask, snorkel, and fins), and complete a medical questionnaire. Some individuals may require a doctor's signature depending on their answers.
The duration of the PADI Open Water Diver course is flexible and depends on your availability. It requires a minimum of 3 days, and the center adapts to your schedule.
A Discover Scuba Diving experience, which includes two dives, costs 150€. A private Discover Scuba Diving experience with exclusive boat, captain, and instructor is available for 150€.
Kayaks are equipped with life vests, paddles, backrests, and a dry bag. In winter, neoprene suits are provided to keep you warm. Rentals are by the hour, subject to sea conditions.
For beginner divers, sites like El Chocho and La Piedra de los Patos offer comfortable depths of 12-14 meters with good visibility, ideal for improving skills and enjoying the marine life.
