The Groupe Atlantique de Plongée (GAP44) is a scuba diving and freediving club located in Le Croisic, France. Certified by SSI, CMAS/FFESSM, and TDI, the club offers a comprehensive range of courses, from Discover Scuba Diving to Instructor Development, and technical specialties such as Deep Diver and Wreck Diver. What people ask before booking
Yes. As an FFESSM-affiliated club, the GAP can only take out divers holding a valid federal licence. If you don't have one, the club can provide one — it runs from 1 September through to 31 December of the following year.
Your dive level card, your level licence, and a medical certificate of non-contraindication to diving less than one year old. No diver boards the Hippocampe without all three.
Yes. The club offers free introductory dives (baptêmes) every Monday evening from 19h45 to 22h00 at the Aquaparc pool in Saint-Nazaire, outside school holidays. Booking in advance is required.
