El Rei del Mar Diving Center

El Rei del Mar Diving Center, located in L'Estartit, has been a family-run operation since 1990. Featuring a professional team with extensive experience in the area, it provides a comprehensive service designed to maximize comfort, safety, and a good atmosphere, supported by efficient organization and continuously improving facilities.

Its privileged location within the Montgrí, Medes Islands, and Baix Ter Natural Park makes El Rei del Mar a highly valued destination in the Mediterranean. The Medes Islands, a Natural Reserve, teem with marine life, offering impressive shoals of barracuda, amberjacks, and salema, as well as the chance to spot species like manta rays, sunfish, tuna, and curious groupers. These dive sites are suitable for all qualified divers, though dive limits and the necessity of advance booking within the natural reserve must be considered.

The center is certified by PADI and SSI, offering a wide range of courses for all levels, from eco-discovery dives and Bubblemaker programs to professional training. El Rei del Mar also offers specialized boat diving courses. Its facilities include accommodation, a swimming pool, equipment rental, and a bar. The diving season runs from April to November, with courses and discovery dives primarily concentrated in July and August. The center operates daily from 8 AM to 7 PM.
