Nitrox
For some years, it has been possible to verify the increase of Nitrox (or enriched air) in most of the diving centers due to the benefits of this by allowing you to exceed some limits found when using air and increasing your safety and comfort. How to get a Nitrox certification? It is a course that lasts about one day and includes a theoretical part, obviously including the advantages of Nitrox, the particular considerations that must be taken into account for this type of dive and the planning of a dive with enriched air. The practical module includes the verification of the oxygen percentage, the marking of the cylinders and 2 dives with Nitrox to verify the satisfactions of this type of immersion. Nitrox certification, particularly Advanced Nitrox, will open the doors to TEC diving if you wish, allowing you access to both TEC and Trimix certification levels. Boat Christening
Boat Christening The boat baptism also consists of a short theoretical explanation but includes a practice dive in our pool to familiarize ourselves with the diving equipment and the environment before making our dive from the boat. The dive from a boat is also carried out with an instructor for every two or three people in a cove that is inaccessible by land on the Costa Brava. This allows us to enjoy marine life much more, since nature is in its wildest state, with no regular presence of bathers or boats, in an area sheltered from the waves and with high visibility. Duration: 3-4 hours Price: €95 per person If you want to go a little further and what you would like is to have a degree to be able to dive anywhere in the world, we suggest the OPEN WATER DIVER COURSE Take your diving courses whenever you want since we have full time availability, choose the day and time that suits you best from Monday to Sunday and we will do the rest.
BUOYANCY
What is neutral buoyancy? Divers like to float in a neutral state so they don't sink or rise but it can be a little tricky to perfect. Divers who master the highest levels of buoyancy performance are given separate consideration. Glide effortlessly, use less breathing gas, and naturally ascend, descend, or hover. You will be able to delicately interact with aquatic life and affect the environment minimally. We will learn: · How to set up your scuba equipment to be perfectly balanced in the water. · Nuances when calculating the ballast so as not to be too light or too heavy even for a small variation. · How to be hydrodynamic to save breathing gas and move smoothly in the water. · How to float motionless if you exert yourself in both a vertical and a horizontal position.
