About the Center
URSRSA - Club de plongée Lyon is an associative diving club based in Lyon, France. The club is affiliated with SSI and CMAS/FFESSM certifications, offering quality training for divers of all levels. Specialized courses such as Rescue Diver and Boat Diving are highlighted, preparing members for more advanced and safer underwater experiences.
The facilities at URSRSA include WiFi access, a bar for socializing, a swimming pool for aquatic training, and complete equipment rental, ensuring members have everything they need to enjoy their passion. The club regularly organizes freshwater diving excursions, such as in Chamagnieu, and trips to the Mediterranean (Marseille, Cassis, Giens, Fréjus), as well as sessions at the diving pit in Meyzieu.
Conviviality is a cornerstone of the club. After training sessions or during trips, members gather for shared dinners, creating a welcoming and familial atmosphere. The training season at the Garibaldi swimming pool takes place on Wednesday evenings. The upcoming 2025-2026 season will commence with training sessions on Wednesday, September 10th and 17th, 2025, with the possibility of introductory dives (by reservation only). Online registrations will be available from July 7th.

Pour le niveau 1 ou équivalent, permet de plonger sans supervision jusqu'à 20m et jusqu'à 40m avec un guide de groupe. Requiert 10 plongées en milieu naturel.
