Buceo Alcalá

Buceo Alcalá, located in Alcalá de Henares, Madrid, is a PADI 5-Star IDC dive center. They are dedicated to promoting diving as an accessible leisure activity, demystifying it and making it attainable for everyone. Having issued over 1800 PADI certifications, they offer comprehensive training from introductory experiences to professional and technical levels.

The center is distinguished by its in-person classes and practice sessions in heated swimming pools, preparing students for open water dives. Their course offerings are extensive, including specialties such as Enriched Air Nitrox, Deep Diver, Night Diver, and buoyancy control. They also provide training in equipment maintenance and first aid.

Beyond sports, Buceo Alcalá demonstrates a strong social and environmental commitment. They collaborate with associations to conduct adapted diving sessions for individuals with functional diversity, promoting the term "functional diversity" to combat social barriers and prejudices. They actively participate in seabed clean-ups and PADI's "Project AWARE," working towards a clean, healthy, and abundant marine world. Furthermore, they organize environmental education activities for children and young people aged 8 and above.
