What people ask before booking
The minimum age for the Open Water Diver course is 12 years. For minors, parental or legal guardian permission is required. For the Open Water Nitrox Diver course, the minimum age is 18 years.
A medical certificate authorizing the practice of diving is required. Additionally, a health questionnaire must be completed. If any of the first 10 questions on the questionnaire are answered affirmatively, a medical examination by a hyperbaric medicine specialist is mandatory. The center can recommend Fisiobárica for this.
The price includes theoretical classes, confined water practice (pool), use of heavy equipment (wetsuit, regulator, BCD, tank, weights), access to IANTD platform and didactic material, certification processing, certification card, and insurance during the course.
The course price does not include transfer to the sea, accommodation and meals for open water practice weekends, the 4 open water dives (from boat), light equipment (mask, snorkel, fins, booties), or the medical certificate.
The price for the Advanced Diver course is 185€. This includes theoretical classes and pool practice, use of heavy equipment, didactic material, and certification processing.
Requirements include being at least 12 years old (with parental permission if a minor), having a medical certificate for diving, a minimum certification of Open Water Diver (ACUC or equivalent), 15 hours of bottom time experience, a valid diving insurance, and two photographs.
The Nitrox course teaches the use of enriched air mixtures with up to 40% oxygen. It can be taken in person (approx. 4 hours) or online via IANTD's e-learning program, followed by a theoretical evaluation. The price is 120€, or 100€ for returning students.
Pool practice sessions are held on Sunday afternoons (16:00-20:00) and last approximately 4 hours. They are for certified divers (OWD or higher) with valid insurance. Assisted practices cost 35€ and include instructor presence, facility use, tank, and weights. Free practices also cost 35€ and include the same, but participants manage their own practice. Equipment rental is available for 5€.
