About the Center
Saint Malo Plongée Émeraude is a non-profit diving club (under the 1901 law) based in Saint-Malo, in Ille-et-Vilaine (Brittany), on the edge of a bay renowned for Europe's strongest tides and its rich maritime history. The center welcomes divers from the age of 8, individually, with family or in groups, from beginners to advanced divers, for outings, training, and explorations using air or Nitrox.
The dive school offers training from the French Federation of Underwater Studies and Sports (FFESSM), internationally recognized by CMAS: from Level 1 (PE-20) to Level 4 (Dive Leader), as well as specialties such as Nitrox Basic, RIFAP, and dry suit diving. The club also offers try dives at sea and in a pool, a water hike, and discovery outings for accompanying non-divers.
The center has three boats (the catamaran MacLow, the rigid-hulled inflatable Margatte, and the speedboat Cassiopée), a heated 8-meter deep dive pool, two classrooms, equipped changing rooms, and an air and Nitrox filling station (with oxygen and helium available). A dive shop offers Aqualung equipment and used items.
