Manado Diving, located in Manado, Indonesia, is an SSI-certified dive center offering an exceptional diving experience in the North Sulawesi region. Specializing in courses such as Advanced Open Water and Boat Diving, the center ensures divers of all levels can enhance their skills. Its proximity to Bunaken National Park, a short boat ride away, allows for exploration of a diverse array of dive sites, from muck diving to large coral formations.

The facilities at Manado Diving are designed for guest comfort and enjoyment. They include a bar for post-dive relaxation, accommodation for a hassle-free stay, a swimming pool for practice or leisure, equipment rental, a dive shop stocking necessary items, and air fills (nitrox). Additionally, boat diving, night diving, and airport transfers are available to facilitate easy arrival.

The area around Manado is renowned for its marine biodiversity, with a high chance of spotting sea turtles at Bunaken and amazing critters on their house reef in Manado. The center even has exclusive dive sites that they have named themselves, such as '45 Bananas' and 'Circus Critter', inviting divers to discover new underwater adventures in Manado Bay and its surroundings, including Bunaken.

The easiest way is to fly to Manado (Sam Ratulangi International Airport – MDC) from Singapore, Jakarta, Denpasar, or Makasar. If you stay for 5 nights or more, Lumbalumba Resort offers a free pick-up. Otherwise, a transfer can be arranged, taking approximately 60 to 90 minutes depending on traffic.

Citizens of many countries (including China, Russia, USA, Canada, UK, Germany, France, Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Switzerland) receive a 30-day tourist visa on arrival. Citizens of other countries may need to pay a fee or apply in advance at an Indonesian embassy. Always check the latest official requirements.

Consult your doctor for specific advice. General recommendations include ensuring Hepatitis and Tetanus vaccinations are up-to-date. Mosquito-borne illnesses like dengue and malaria are present, so mosquito repellent with DEET is advised. Reef-safe sunscreen is recommended for sea activities.

Manado and North Sulawesi are considered very safe parts of Indonesia, with a predominantly Christian population living in harmony. Unlike some other regions, Manado has not experienced significant unrest. The distance from areas that have faced issues is substantial, comparable to the distance between London and Athens.

The resort offers free WiFi. For internet access outside the resort, purchasing a local SIM card with data is recommended, which can be bought cheaply at malls in Manado. It's advised to have a second phone if yours only supports one SIM card.

The voltage is 220V and 50Hz, with Type C/F plugs. While there is 24-hour electricity, power cuts can occur, but the resort has a generator. A flashlight is provided in each room.

No, towels are provided. You will receive a towel for the diving boat, a pool towel, and towels in your room. They are changed daily if needed, but guests are encouraged to reuse them to help the environment.
