This course, recognized worldwide by PADI, is structured to build your confidence and skills progressively. You will complete five knowledge development sections, covering essential dive theory, which can be done through PADI eLearning for flexibility or in traditional classroom sessions. Following this, you'll master fundamental scuba skills across five confined water dives in a controlled environment, such as the calm waters of Lembongan Bay, before applying them in the ocean. Your practical training culminates in four open water dives conducted under the direct supervision of your PADI Instructor. These dives take place in the vibrant waters surrounding Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Penida, allowing you to explore the local marine ecosystems. The course is performance-based, meaning you progress as you demonstrate mastery of skills. While it can be completed in as little as three days with prior study, a more relaxed four to five-day schedule is common, allowing ample time to absorb the material and enjoy the experience. Lembongan Dive Center offers this foundational certification in English and French, ensuring clear communication and a comfortable learning environment for a diverse range of students. The price of 5,650,000 IDR includes the PADI Open Water Diver Manual, your certification application fee, and the use of all necessary diving equipment. This certification is your passport to exploring the underwater world independently, opening up possibilities for future diving adventures. Upon completion, you'll be qualified to dive to a maximum depth of 18 meters (60 feet) with a buddy. It's the perfect stepping stone for further PADI courses, such as the Advanced Open Water Diver, or simply for enjoying recreational dives at countless dive sites around the globe.
