Bringing your own equipment is recommended for maximum comfort. However, quality rental equipment is available: Recreational gear includes Apeks DS4 Regulator, Xdeep Zeos Wing / Stainless Steel Backplate, OMS Slipstream Fins, Scupabro Jet Fins, 5mm Wetsuit & Boots, and Frameless Mask. Technical gear includes DIR Apeks DST/XTX50 Twinset, Sidemount Regulators, DIR Apeks DS4 Stage Regulators, DIR Twinset Wings & Backplates (AL/SS), Primary Technical Lights, Tech Shorts, OMS Slipstream Fins, and Scubapro Jet Fins.
Overhead diving requires good buoyancy control and awareness. Divers should have dived within the last six months. Guides and instructors assess each diver's ability to proceed safely. For technical courses, refer to the prerequisites section. Guides reserve the right to adjust or terminate dive plans for safety and conservation.
Cenote entrance fees vary and are paid in Mexican Pesos (MXN) to private property owners. Examples include Cenote Angelita 380 MXN, Casa Cenote 200 MXN, Cenote Dos Ojos 400 MXN, and The Pit 500 MXN. Camera fees may also apply.
Bullshark season is from Mid-November to the beginning of March. While sightings are highly probable, encounters are not guaranteed as they are in their natural environment.
Whaleshark Season is from June to September. Similar to bullsharks, sightings are probable but not guaranteed as they are visited in their natural habitat.
