About the Center
The Tech Of Plongee Dive Centre, located in Port-Vendres, France, is a small, professional structure specializing in both recreational and technical diving. Certified by SSI, CMAS/FFESSM, and TDI, it offers a comprehensive range of courses, from Discover Scuba Diving to Instructor Development Course and advanced technical diving. They provide training in Trimix (normoxic and hypoxic) in both open and closed circuits, alongside boat diving and wreck diving courses.
Facilities at the centre include parking, showers, lockers, WiFi, a bar, accommodation, a swimming pool, and an equipment rental service. Air fills, including nitrox and trimix, are readily available. Dive activities encompass boat diving, shore diving, and night diving. The centre organizes explorations of nearby shipwrecks such as the Saumur, Astrée, and Saint-Lucien, which are a short boat ride away, as well as the Bananier wreck, located twenty minutes from the dive centre. The Cerbère-Banuyls nature reserve is also accessible.
The centre is committed to inclusive diving, actively encouraging women into technical diving with special offers on rebreather discovery dives (rEvo/SF2) for the 2025 season. This initiative aims to address gender inequality in diving, providing an opportunity to experience closed-circuit diving in a safe and welcoming atmosphere. They operate a Zodiac boat with a maximum capacity of fifteen people.
Tech Of Plongee provides accommodation services and airport transfers. Operating year-round with a "human-sized" philosophy, the centre strives for accessibility, offering a spectrum of diving experiences from introductory dives to high-level technical training, including the use of rebreathers like rEvo, SF2, and Submatix. Open Water Diver Course

Baptême 20 minutes
Une plongée tout inclus. Initiation à la plongée sous-marine avec un moniteur Diplômé d’État dans la zone 0-6m (profondeurs adaptées pour les enfants selon leur âge). Un moniteur par baptême.
Niveau 1 - PE20
Trois jours, 5 à 6 plongées. Théorie + Pratique. Matériel inclus. Passez votre Plongeur Encadré 20m afin d’évoluer en sécurité dans une palanquée encadrée par un moniteur dans la zone 0-20m.
Niveau 2 (PA20/PE40)
Une semaine, 10 plongées. Théorie + Pratique. Matériel non inclus. Passez cette formation regroupant le Plongeur Autonome 20m et le Plongeur Encadré 40m afin d’apprendre l’autonomie dans la zone 0-20m pour y plonger sans moniteur et évoluer sur les épaves de la côte Vermeille dans la zone 0-40 encadré par un moniteur lors de plongées saturantes.
Niveau 4 format complet
Deux semaines, Stage préparatoire + Stage final + Examen. Théorie + pratique. Matériel non inclus. La formation complète niveau 4 s’adresse aux plongeurs qui n’ont aucune préparation ou expérience d’encadrement.
Divemaster (SDI)
Deux semaines, Stage préparatoire + Stage final + Examen. Théorie + Pratique. Matériel non inclus. La formation Divemaster vous permet d’acquérir le premier niveau professionnel afin de travailler à l’étranger (hors France) dans le secteur de la plongée.
PA 20
6 plongées. Théorie + pratique. Matériel non inclus. Conditions d’entrée en formation: PE20 minimum. Passez votre Plongeur Autonome 20m afin d’acquérir l’autonomie dans la zone 0-20m dans une palanquée composée d’autres plongeurs certifiés sans moniteur.

Rescue Diver SDI
The SDI Rescue Diver course offered by Tech of Plongee is designed to significantly enhance your ability to prevent and manage dive emergencies. This intensive program focuses on developing self-reliance and teamwork, preparing you to be a more capable and responsible diver. The curriculum includes practical training across 5 dives, simulating a wide array of rescue scenarios to hone your skills in identifying potential problems, anticipating them, and implementing preventative measures. You will learn crucial techniques for assisting distressed or unresponsive divers, managing equipment malfunctions, and performing in-water rescues. The theoretical component delves into accident management, stress recognition in divers, and essential dive first aid protocols. This course requires a strong commitment to mastering advanced safety procedures, ensuring you are prepared for various emergency situations underwater. This specialty certification is a vital step for those aspiring to professional diving levels, often serving as a prerequisite for SDI Divemaster or Instructor training. By completing the Rescue Diver course, you gain the confidence and competence to handle challenging situations, making you a more valuable buddy and a safer diver overall. Wreck dives typically range from 32 meters up to 80 meters, depending on the specific wreck. For example, Le Saumur is at 48m, L'Astrée around 38-47m, Le Saint-Lucien 32-40m, and Le José Illueca at 80m.
