TOURING PLONGEE

TOURING PLONGÉE, located in Chassieu, France, is a sports and leisure association dedicated to scuba diving and freediving. This organization, governed by the law of 1901, is affiliated with the French Federation for Underwater Studies and Sports (FFESSM), as well as SSI and CMAS. All club members, including the steering committee and instructors, are volunteers, ensuring a dedicated passion for diving and freediving.

The center offers a wide range of courses for all levels, from beginners to the most experienced. Among the available options are training in freediving, boat diving, deep diving, and wreck diving. For those looking to start their underwater journey, the FFESSM Level 1 is the gateway, allowing exploration up to a maximum depth of 20 meters under the supervision of an experienced guide. This course includes practical sessions in a swimming pool, where basic techniques with full equipment are taught.

For practical training, TOURING PLONGÉE utilizes various facilities. Initial diving and freediving sessions take place in a swimming pool and, subsequently, in a dive pit or an adapted quarry in Chamagnieu, preparing students for open water dives. Additionally, the club provides equipment rental and organizes boat diving trips, offering a comprehensive and safe experience for its members.
