About the Center
Poseidon Roses, a diving center renowned on the Costa Brava, is soon celebrating its 50th anniversary since its inception by Bernd and Barbara. Driven by respect and love for the marine environment, particularly that of the Costa Brava, the center has welcomed thousands of diving enthusiasts who are now considered friends. They have shared their knowledge of the seabed in the Cap de Creus Natural Reserve and its surroundings, establishing themselves as a key reference point for diving in the region.
With their boat, the POSEIDON, they have conducted numerous outings to points of interest such as Cap Falconera, Cap Falcó, Cala Rustella, Punta de la Trayer, Punta de la Creu, and Cap Norfeu. Safety is paramount, adhering to all protocols and COVID measures to ensure the peace of mind of divers. The center offers unique opportunities to enjoy dives in the Cap de Creus Natural Park and the Cap Norfeu Partial Reserve, with over 20 diving sites available.
The Mörker family, with three generations dedicated since 1972, passes on their passion for diving and love for the sea. They demonstrate deep respect for the environment, participating in studies and research with the University of Girona and the University of Barcelona. Among the featured dives are Cap Norfeu 15, recommended for all levels with diverse fauna like groupers, gilt-heads, and salema, and El Gat 13, which shares similar characteristics. Punta Falconera offers an experience with tiered platforms, reefs, vertical walls, and even a tunnel, featuring abundant flora and fauna, including red corals.
Located in Santa Margarida, Roses, this diving center is situated in a tourist and fishing town with comprehensive infrastructure. Roses, known as the tourist capital of the Costa Brava, is also one of Catalonia's main fishing ports. Its promenade and coastal path offer spectacular views of the Bay of Roses. The proximity to natural parks like Cap de Creus, Els Aiguamolls de l'Empordà, and L'Albera enriches the visitor experience.
