About the Center
Le Brusc Plongée is a dive center located in Le Brusc, a small fishing village in the commune of Six-Fours-les-Plages in the Var department, France. It is situated at the foot of the Embiez Archipelago, an area classified as Natura 2000, thus offering a diving experience in a protected and high-quality natural environment.
The center is led by Stéphane, a DEJEPS (State Diploma for Youth, Popular Education, and Sport) and SSI Instructor, along with a team of state-certified instructors. They offer a wide range of training courses recognized by SSI and CMAS/FFESSM, including the Instructor Development Course (IDC) and specialties such as boat diving. They also organize night dives, providing unique opportunities to explore the underwater world from different perspectives.
Le Brusc Plongée has various facilities for the comfort of its clients, including lockers, a bar for relaxing after dives, and accommodation. Pack découverte
Permet de réaliser trois sessions d'initiation (plongée bouteille, apnée, randonnée palmée...) supervisées dans la zone de 0 à 6 m.
Plongeur encadré à 12 mètres (PE12)
Permet de réaliser un baptême et deux plongées d'initiation en scaphandre, supervisées dans la zone de 0 à 6 m avec possibilité d'incursion dans la zone de 6 à 12 mètres.
Plongeur encadré à 20 mètres (PE 20) - niveau 1
Vous serez capable de réaliser des plongées d'exploration jusqu'à 20 m de profondeur, en groupe, avec un guide qui se chargera de la conduite de la plongée.
Nitrox de base
Théorie + une plongée.
Open Water Diver
Certification internationale pour faire partie d'un groupe d'explorateurs sous-marins opérant dans la zone des 18m.
Plongée profonde
Vous apprendrez à planifier et à réaliser en toute sécurité vos plongées profondes, ainsi qu'à utiliser des ordinateurs de plongée et à calculer votre consommation d'air.

What people ask before booking
Baptism dives (first dives) are open from age 8. Children aged 8–10 are limited to 2 m on their first immersion, and 10–14 year olds to 3 m. The PE20 Level 1 course requires a minimum age of 12. SSI programmes start from age 10.
For discovery dives and baptism dives, no prior medical certificate is required. However, for any FFESSM/ANMP certification course at any level, you must present a CACI (certificat d'absence de contre-indication) dated less than one year old from a GP.
Individual items (regulator, BCD, wetsuit, SMB, fins) cost €6 each. A full standard equipment pack is €20. A dive computer or torch is €15. The center has 40 wetsuits and 40 pairs of fins in various sizes.
Yes. Nitrox fills are available: a 12-liter nitrox tank is €12 and a 15-liter is €15. There is also an €8 per-dive nitrox supplement for exploration dives. SSI Enriched Air Nitrox certification (32% or 40%) costs €90 plus a €90 SSI kit.
La Mona is 25 minutes by boat in calm conditions, Le Maraudeur 40 minutes, and L'Arroyo 45 minutes. Distant sites (including the P38, Dornier, Tromblon, and Arroyo) carry a €5 fuel supplement per dive.
Yes. The center accommodates groups up to 30 divers. Arrangements are made by convention depending on the dates, group size, and requirements such as a Directeur de Plongée or additional state-qualified instructors. Contact the center for a quote.
Yes. Autonomous divers (with their own equipment) pay €45 per dive. Pack of 5 dives gets one free at €225, and a pack of 10 dives gets one free at €450 — both valid within the calendar year. Guided dives for non-autonomous divers are €55 with equivalent packages.
Le Brusc Plongée offers both French certifications (FFESSM/ANMP — from PE12 through PA60/Level 3, plus Nitrox and Secourisme/RIFA) and international SSI certifications (Basic Diver, Scuba Diver, Open Water Diver, and multiple SSI specialties). E-learning is available for SSI programmes.
