Vobster Quay

Vobster Quay is a renowned dive centre and water activities venue located in Upper Vobster, Somerset, in the heart of south-west England. Set in a 36-acre freshwater quarry, it is widely regarded as one of the finest inland diving facilities in the United Kingdom. The site features a rich variety of underwater attractions at depths ranging from 6 to 36 metres, including the fuselage of an ex-Royal Navy Commando Sea King helicopter, a British Army Armoured Personnel Carrier, and several shipwrecks. Recognised as a PADI 5 Star Dive Center, Vobster Quay provides courses for all levels, from beginner through to advanced technical diving and closed-circuit rebreather (CCR). Its facilities include gas fills (air, enriched air nitrox, and trimix up to 232 bar), equipment hire, a specialist retail shop, and IDEST-approved servicing. The centre maintains high-speed RIBs for emergency response and lifeguard coverage on site.
