The Dive Gurus

The Dive Gurus is an exclusive adventure boutique located in La Paz, Mexico, offering guided dive trips and scuba training from basic open water through to Instructor and technical diving. As La Paz's only PADI Five Star Instructor Development Facility, their store is situated in Marina Palmira. Their dive sites are focused in and around all the islands of La Paz, with a special emphasis on the Espiritu Santo Marine Park, recognized as one of the best managed protected areas in the world.

Their philosophy on training and sustainability centers on continuously improving interactions with the underwater environment. They offer courses from PADI, SSI, and IANTD, including Discover Scuba Diving, Open Water Diver, Enriched Air Nitrox, Instructor Development Course, and technical diving. They also provide support for film crews, scientists, and CCR divers, and are renowned for their expeditions and photo & video workshops. Nitrox is included in all their guided dives and courses.

The Dive Gurus' facilities include lockers, a bar, accommodation, equipment rental, a dive shop, air fills (nitrox), boat diving, night diving, and guided dives. Maintaining their boats to a maximum of 4 or 6 guided divers ensures an intimate and breathtaking experience, going beyond the average dive center. They utilize rental equipment from brands like Fourth Element, Apeks, and Shearwater, and pride themselves on being a sustainability leader, avoiding single-use plastics and ensuring their dive practices have no negative impact on the environment, having been awarded the prestigious PADI Eco Award.
