About the Center
Buceo Ciesub, based in Vigo, Spain, is a dive center with almost 25 years of experience, founded in 1985. They hold the distinction of being the oldest PADI center in Vigo and are a 5-star PADI Instructor Development Center. Certified by PADI and SSI, they offer a wide range of courses, from Discover Scuba Diving to Instructor Development Course, also covering technical and boat diving. Located in the fishing neighborhood of Bouzas, just 15 meters from the sea with direct access from the promenade, Ciesub facilitates boarding without additional travel. Their facilities include lockers, WiFi, bar, equipment rental, air charges (including nitrox) and they organize boat dives and night diving. The center stands out for its experience in exploring the beauty of the Ría de Vigo and the Cíes Islands, which are part of the Maritime-Terrestrial National Park of the Atlantic Islands of Galicia. Their guides are accredited by the PNIAG, guaranteeing authorization to dive in these protected areas. They also offer specialized courses such as Rescue and First Aid in Underwater Activities. Buceo Ciesub has a multilingual team that speaks Spanish, English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian and Ukrainian, ensuring fluid communication for all clients. Its course offering ranges from introductory levels to professional training, satisfying the diverse needs of each diver.

Ciesub was founded in October 2002 by a passionate diver with extensive experience in the navy and as a professional diver. They have been teaching diving since 1985 and are the oldest PADI center in Vigo.
Ciesub is located in the fishing district of Bouzas in Vigo, just 15 meters from the sea, with direct access from the promenade for embarking on dives.
Ciesub operates two professional semi-rigid boats: the Valiant DR750 'Ciesub' with a 225hp engine and the Narwhall SP520 'Pterigópodo' with a 100hp engine. Both are authorized for the National Park waters.
