Try Scuba Program

The entry point at Koh Tao Scuba Club is a one-day, two-dive program that runs daily throughout the year. The morning starts at 10:30 with registration, a medical form, and a classroom session covering the basics — signals, breathing, buoyancy control. Then lunch, and into the water.

The first dive is skill-focused: exercises and comfort-building in shallow water. The second dive is at a separate site, to a maximum depth of 12 meters, with no training — just swimming alongside the instructor and seeing what's down there. The two-dive structure means you get a proper look at Koh Tao's underwater terrain, not just a controlled pool exercise.

Everything is included in the 3,000 THB price: instructor, equipment, insurance, refreshments, fresh fruit, coffee, and pick-up and drop-off from your accommodation across the island. No hidden extras.

The program is available in English, Thai, French, Spanish, Dutch, and German — request your language when booking. The center also offers a flexible refund option: you can start with just one dive, decide on the spot whether you want the second, and get a refund on the unused dive if you don't continue. That kind of policy is uncommon and worth noting for nervous first-timers.
