Course Description
The ALS Basic Freediving course at Area 11 Diver is the ideal starting point for those who wish to explore the underwater world with calm and awareness. This entry-level program, focused on breathing and freediving management, teaches you the fundamental techniques to increase your underwater endurance safely and relaxed. Practical sessions take place in protected waters, allowing you to concentrate on learning breathing and relaxation methods, essential for fully enjoying the marine environment. Area 11 Diver, affiliated with recognized certifications such as CMAS, NAUI, and SSI, guarantees a structured and high-quality training path, preparing you for future underwater adventures.
Freediving takes place in a favorable environmental context, with water temperatures ranging from 12.1 °C in January to 27.5 °C in August, making practice possible for a good part of the year. The average annual sea temperature stands at 17.4 °C, suggesting the use of appropriate wetsuits in the colder months.
