Open Water Diver

Theory sessions for the Open Water start on the first Thursday of each month at the shop — fixed schedule, no waiting for a class to fill up. Pool work is at the Olympiabad München, with five sessions running up to 3–5 hours total. Open water takes place over two days at the Badepark Bad Wiessee, with four open water dives completing the certification.

The course runs under PADI and is available from age 10 (Junior Open Water Diver). Equipment rental is included in the price, so you don't need to own gear to get certified. ABC equipment — mask, snorkel, fins, boots and gloves — is not included but can be purchased at a student discount through the shop.

Three pricing tiers: €680 with classroom theory, €500 using PADI eLearning, or €350 for eLearning with pool sessions only (no open water component at that price). Nitrox certification can be added on top of the Open Water at the time of booking.

Group pricing is available on request. All enrolments require the standard VDST dive medical.
