Offered by Aquatech Diving Centre
Stockport, England
Course Description
The PADI Night Diver Specialty course at Aquatech Diving Centre offers a unique opportunity to explore the underwater world after sunset. This specialty course reveals a different realm that emerges when daylight fades, transforming familiar dive sites into mysterious and alluring environments. Nocturnal creatures become active, and diurnal species retire, providing a completely new perspective. This course is designed to teach divers how to safely and confidently explore this hidden world.
Participants must hold a PADI Open Water Diver certification or equivalent and be at least 12 years old. The training focuses on essential skills for night diving, including effective use of a dive light, maintaining buoyancy control by feel, staying close to your buddy, and paying close attention to details often overlooked during daylight dives. The course includes three open water night dives.
During the training dives, students will practice crucial skills such as proper light handling and communication techniques in low visibility. You will learn safe methods for entering and exiting the water in the dark, navigating effectively using your light and compass, and identifying the distinct behaviors of marine life at night. The recommended course duration is approximately 12 hours, allowing ample time for instruction and practice.
Aquatech Diving Centre includes all necessary scuba equipment, air fills, PADI Night Diver eLearning materials, logbook endorsements, and the PADI Certification eCard in the course fee of £195.00. This specialty is an excellent addition for divers seeking to add a new dimension to their underwater adventures and gain confidence in low-light conditions. The center is a PADI-certified facility, ensuring high standards of training and safety.
