RESCUE DIVER + EFR
Offered by DIVING & COMBAT
Tossa de Mar, Girona
Course Description
“Challenging” and “rewarding” best describe the PADI Rescue Diver course.
Building on what you've already learned, this course builds on what you already know about how to prevent problems and how to manage them if they happen.
The fun part of this course is rising to challenges and mastering them. Most divers find this course challenging and rewarding, and in the end they say it is the best course they have ever taken.
What will you learn?
Self rescue.
Recognize and manage stress from other divers.
Equipment and emergency management.
Rescue of panicked divers.
Rescue of unconscious divers.
CPR and First Aid: Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care
First Aid and CPR are good skills for those involved in adventure sports – because of what might happen. And you need those techniques for the PADI Rescue Diver course.
Emergency First Response is a PADI Partner that specializes in teaching these techniques (and doing it for anyone, not just divers). Most PADI Instructors are also Emergency First Response Instructors!
The fun part of Emergency First Response training is that you learn serious emergency medical skills in an upbeat and positive environment. You gain the confidence you need to be prepared to help in an emergency.
What you will learn in the EFR Courses of Primary Care and Secondary Care
BLS (Basic Life Support) CPR and rescue breaths at a non-professional level.
Use of the AED (automated external defibrillator) (optional)
Prevention and treatment of shock.
Management of spinal cord injuries.
