DRY SUIT

Dry suits allow you to dive in more challenging sites, while extending your diving season. When you wear the proper cold water diving clothing, you can battle the elements and generally benefit from the better visibility the winter months offer — especially at inland dive sites such as dams, lakes, sinkholes, caverns, etc. As a dry suit diver, you are equipped to dive some of the world's incredible dive sites in the coldest regions of the planet where a dry suit is best enjoyed even in its warmer months.

what will you learn

Acquire the knowledge and skills to safely dress, dive, remove and store the dry suit. Know the different types of suits so that you can make an informed decision if you decide to buy a dry suit. You will learn:

Dry suit buoyancy control techniques.

Dry suit maintenance, storage and basic repairs.

Insulating undergarment options (wool or all types of undergarments worn under the drysuit).
