Advanced OWD

The Advanced Open Water Diver at Active Diving Würzburg follows the same flexible scheduling model as the entry-level course — no fixed dates, sessions booked by agreement with the school. The course builds directly on Open Water skills and is run in line with SSI and i.a.c. standards.

Active Diving organises regular dive events at lakes across Germany, Austria and Switzerland, which provide practical open-water environments where students can work toward their advanced certification outside of a holiday trip. Sites like the Sundhäuser See and Deglersee, which appear on the school's event calendar, are the kind of locations where this training takes place.

The school's team includes a full Instructor Trainer and multiple Open Water and Specialty Instructors, meaning the depth of expertise available for the advanced curriculum is well above what a smaller operation can offer.

As with all courses, equipment is available for rental at the school's published rates, with course participants receiving included rental kit during training dives.
