In the Open Water Diver diving course, you learned all the knowledge and techniques necessary to dive safely and responsibly. However, this course does not make you an "Advanced Diver".
Specialty teaching has two primary objectives: to prepare you for new diving situations, and to improve your technical level.
To become an SSI Advanced Diver you have to complete at least four specialty courses and have registered in your DiveLog at least 24 dives.
All the specialties have their manual, their online video to develop your knowledge at your own pace and then you can take a theory review class and various sea practices depending on the chosen specialty.
You can choose between several specialties looking for the ones that best suit your needs and diving location.
We have designed an Advanced Diver course that brings together the four specialties that we get the most out of in the usual practice of scuba diving and which will help you if you want to advance your professional career.
We carry out four theory classes and six sea practices in total.
The specialties are: Night Diving, Deep Diving, Orienteering and Nitrox Diving.
But you can choose between any of the specialties that we have:
