Description

Menorca is the perfect island to embark on the TDI Cavern Diver course. With countless caves in most of our dive sites in and around S'Algar, we can even choose between them. Menorca's marine topography is like a Gruyère cheese, full of holes!

This course takes place in a minimum of two days full of emotions and is made up of learning essential knowledge and skills for this type of dive.

Approximately 6 hours of this course are dedicated to theoretical sessions and specific explanations from the Instructor. There is, as always, a final exam. At the end of this part of the course, it's time to get a little wet and complete this series of aspects in the water:

- TDI Cave Diving Policy
- Gas mixing procedures
- Psychological considerations
- Equipment considerations
- Communication
- Swimming techniques
- Physiology
- Environment and conservation of caves
-Cavern Conservation
- Problem resolution
- Accident analysis
- Review of the Diving Tables and decompression theory
- Cave Diving Etiquette

During the course you will gain experience and learn to use diving equipment that is not usually used, such as a cutter, flashlights, safety reels, scoring tables, triple direction arrows...

This equipment is not usually rented and you should have your own. If this is not the case, tell us in advance what you will need to rent to ensure that we have everything ready for you.
