If you have your own camera, you can do it with it, if not you will use an advanced compact that you can even use completely manually.
Avoid the frustration of learning underwater photography through trial and error. The course reduces the learning curve with professional tips and tricks.
Topics covered include:
Basic photography tips.
Flash diagrams for a variety of effects.
Tips to remove reflection from particles.
An explanation of the various digital file formats.
How to return the color to your images.
The work package includes the PADI Digital Underwater Photographer Manual and an underwater white balance chart. The course materials preview the skills you will practice with your instructor. Upon completion of the course, use the manual as a guide and reference as you explore new environments and improve your techniques.

You will need to:
1 passport size photograph.
Possess the PADI Open Water Diver certification (or equivalent certificate from another organization). Your Photography Adventure Dive from the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver / Adventure Diver course counts (at the discretion of your instructor) as the first dive of the Digital Underwater Photography course PADI.
Medical certificate that qualifies as suitable for the practice of underwater activities.
