What people ask before booking
Unfortunately, we do not offer night or wreck dives. The logistics of launching and beaching boats in the dark make night diving impractical, and there are no wrecks available for diving in the area.
Visibility and currents are changeable and unpredictable, not strictly seasonal. Winter tends to have worse visibility (down to 5m), though 15m+ is possible. Water temperature is generally hotter (up to 28°C) from December to April and colder (down to 18°C) from June to October, but thermoclines can occur year-round. A 5mm wetsuit with a hood and rash vest is recommended.
We have emergency oxygen (white tank), a DAN box with breathing apparatus, GPS, mobile phone, and radio. Skippers manage emergencies. We dive within decompression limits and advise ascending slowly. If separated, look for 1 minute, then ascend. Inflate a surface marker buoy and signal the boat. We have the best safety record in Tofo and prioritize caution.
