Description du Cours
The baptism dive at Andrésy Plongée is the entry point into scuba for anyone who has never been underwater with a tank. It runs under direct supervision in the club's pool (la fosse), which removes the variables of current, visibility and sea conditions from a first experience. The format follows the FFESSM approach to introductory dives, with an instructor alongside throughout.
The pool setting means the session is controlled and repeatable — if something doesn't click the first time, there's no logistical pressure from tides or boat schedules. The club's instructor team (les moniteurs) handles the briefing and all in-water supervision. No prior experience is required.
For anyone considering going further into scuba, the baptism dive also serves as a practical preview of the N1 course — same pool, same instructors, same environment. That continuity matters when deciding whether to commit to a full certification pathway.
