Nitrox

The elementary Nitrox course at Corsica Sub introduces the use of enriched air mixtures for recreational diving, focusing on how nitrox reduces decompression risk and the specific procedures for diving on blends. The course includes one dive and one theory module. Price is 195€.

Minimum age is 16; minors need parental consent. A medical certificate of no contraindication is required. At the Cap Corse sites, where many dives hover in the 30–45m range for Level 2 divers, nitrox extends bottom time and narrows decompression margins — a practical rather than academic benefit. The confirmed nitrox level (280€, two dives and one module) follows for divers who want to use more complex blends.
