Rescue Diver

Six dives across six sessions, focused on recognising and resolving problems both underwater and at the surface. The course covers self-rescue, assisting distressed divers, missing diver procedures and emergency management scenarios.

Prerequisites are Advanced Open Water certification and a valid Emergency First Response (EFR) course completed within the past 24 months. The minimum age is 16. Groups are capped at four per instructor.

The practical exercises are conducted in the water — not in a pool — using the same sites the centre works daily, which gives the scenarios a realistic open-water context. The certification (80€ additional) is issued by PADI and is the standard prerequisite for Divemaster training. Medical certificate required. Theory online, not included (add 150€ with certification).
