Description du Cours

The "Formation Initiateur" at Histoire d'Eau Plongée is a professional development program designed to equip passionate divers with the skills to teach and introduce others to the underwater world. This comprehensive course qualifies participants to conduct introductory dives, known as "baptêmes," in both open water and pool environments. Furthermore, upon successful completion, you will be certified to organize and lead Level 1 (PE20) training sessions, marking a significant step towards a rewarding career in dive instruction. The program is overseen by the FFESSM, ensuring adherence to high training standards.

This extensive formation runs from October to April, providing a structured learning period that balances theoretical knowledge with essential practical teaching experience. The initial phase involves a two-day stage organized by the departmental committee. Following this, your assigned tutor will provide personalized guidance through practical training sessions. These sessions are typically held at the Pléneuf Val André pool on Friday evenings, allowing for consistent skill development. The final examination, also managed by the departmental committee, usually takes place in early April, culminating your journey to becoming an initiator.

The waters around Pléneuf Val André offer a dynamic environment for dive training. While specific visibility and marine life details are not provided for this course, the region's climate offers a range of conditions throughout the training period. For instance, average sea temperatures fluctuate, reaching approximately 14.9°C, with air temperatures varying from 6.3°C in January to 18.7°C in August. This extended training window allows participants to adapt to different aquatic conditions and refine their instructional techniques accordingly.

This formation is ideally suited for dedicated divers who possess a strong foundation in diving and a genuine desire to share their passion for the marine environment. A commitment to upholding rigorous teaching and safety standards is paramount. By stepping into the role of an Initiator, you will play a vital part in expanding the diving community, introducing newcomers to the wonders of the aquatic realm, and nurturing a new generation of enthusiastic divers. The center's commitment to quality is reflected in its high Google rating of 5 stars, indicating a strong reputation among its clientele.
