Curso Nitrox

Bubu holds a federally issued Nitrox instructor certification (n°3801) and runs both the introductory Nitrox course and the Nitrox Confirmé level. The school explicitly positions these as useful for divers preparing a trip abroad — more bottom time, increased safety margins on repetitive dives, and familiarity with gas management before stepping onto a liveaboard.

Both levels are conducted at Giens, with open water sessions departing from the Ponton de Bounaou at La Madrague. The small group format (maximum five) applies throughout, meaning sessions don't get diluted with unrelated participants.

The FFESSM framework underpins the certification. For divers already holding a PADI or SSI card, it's worth checking with Bubu directly about recognition and equivalency, as French federation certifications follow a different level structure than agency-based international cards.

Nitrox is also available as a gas fill for certified Nitrox divers doing exploration or technical dives with the school.
