Curso Nitrox

Plongéquilibre's Nitrox specialty goes to 40% mixes — not the 32% that many schools stop at. The school is explicit about why: if you're heading on a liveaboard or planning regular sea diving, you'll hit the limits of 32% quickly and end up re-certifying anyway. Better to do 40% from the start.

The 159 € price covers the theory kit, a pool session of 3 hours at Villeneuve-la-Garenne for the practical (including gas mixture analysis), and the SSI certification card. Equipment rental for Nitrox gear is 11 € extra. If you don't have your own dive computer, add 15 €.

There's also a bundle option (229 €) that combines Nitrox 40% with the Computer specialty — which is a prerequisite for several other courses and for truly autonomous planning. Plongéquilibre pushes this combination because the two skills reinforce each other: understanding decompression models and managing gas with a computer makes Nitrox use significantly safer and more useful.
