Deep Diver

The Deep Diving specialty at Plongéquilibre extends your ceiling from 18 m to 40 m, and it does so across four open-water dives between 18 and 40 m in a natural environment. This is one of the more substantial specialty programmes in terms of dive count and practical complexity.

Sessions cover buoyancy at depth, gas consumption planning, decompression limit management, and self-rescue techniques derived from Open Water skills applied under increased pressure. The school recommends pairing Deep with the Computer specialty, which handles the planning side with a dive computer — the two together give you the full toolkit for safe deep diving within NDL limits.

Price is 319 €: 240 € for practical training and 79 € for the digital kit and certification. Sea dive costs are not included — these depend on where the open-water sessions take place, typically one of the school's Mediterranean trips.
