Description du Cours

Aquanautic Club Lanzarote offers the professional Dive Leader certification, the pinnacle of recreational diving qualifications and a direct route to becoming a dive instructor. This advanced program is designed for experienced divers seeking leadership roles, equipping them with the skills to guide dives, especially for novice participants, effectively bridging the gap between instructors and students. Achieving Dive Leader status signifies a substantial level of diving expertise, practical experience, and leadership potential within the diving community.

The curriculum is comprehensive, encompassing advanced theoretical knowledge in areas such as dive legislation, equipment intricacies, physics, dive medicine, and the psychological aspects of diving. Practical training is demanding, including timed swimming exercises, extended snorkeling, precise underwater navigation, complex rescue simulations, and the supervised leadership of inexperienced diver groups. These rigorous components ensure Dive Leaders are thoroughly prepared for the significant responsibilities they will undertake.

To enroll in the Dive Leader course at Aquanautic Club Lanzarote, candidates must hold a Master Diver certification or CMAS**, be at least 18 years old, and possess a minimum of 65 logged dives, with documented experience in deeper water environments. The course structure ensures graduates are exceptionally well-prepared to manage dive activities and uphold the safety standards for all participants.

Lanzarote's waters offer consistent conditions throughout the year, with sea temperatures averaging 20.2°C, making it an ideal location for advanced dive training. While specific monthly air temperatures vary from 19.5°C in January to 24.3°C in August, the sea temperature provides a stable environment for skill development. The center's location facilitates access to diverse dive sites suitable for leadership training.

Graduates of this program are recognized as highly competent and responsible divers, ready to guide others and make significant contributions to the diving community.
