Museo Atlantico Dive

Experience the unique Museo Atlántico dive site in Playa Blanca, Lanzarote, a pioneering underwater sculpture museum initiated by artist Jason deCaires Taylor in 2017. This course offers a chance to explore this thought-provoking installation spread across a sandy seabed and reef area, approximately 50x50 meters. The sculptures are designed to evolve and serve as artificial reefs, attracting a diverse array of marine life. The dive site's depth ranges from 10 to 14 meters, making it accessible for divers of all experience levels.

The waters around Lanzarote offer pleasant diving conditions throughout the year. While specific monthly visibility data is not provided, the sea temperature averages around 20.2°C, with monthly air temperatures ranging from 19.4°C in January to a high of 24.2°C in August. This makes it comfortable for diving in various seasons. The Museo Atlántico is known for attracting species such as angel sharks, sardines, parrotfish, and barracudas, drawn to the protected environment and the reef structures.

This particular dive is conducted from a boat departing from the port of Playa Blanca.
