PE 40

The PE40 qualification at Noa Plongée allows a certified diver to reach 40 metres while still under instructor supervision — without having to complete the full Niveau 2 curriculum. Four dives over two mornings of bi-plongées, departing at 7:30 and finishing by 12:00.

Each morning consists of two consecutive dives with a 45-minute surface interval on board, snacks and drinks included. The format is the same as the regular bi-plongées — two different sites, boat-based, from the Saint-François marina. The difference is that the dives are structured around the specific skills and depth exposure required for the PE40 qualification.

At the end, you receive a PE40 qualification card. This is a FFESSM/ANMP certification, valid internationally. A medical certificate issued within the last year is mandatory.

This pathway suits divers who hold Niveau 1 and want to access deeper sites — like Le Banc des Vaisseaux or La Désirade — without committing to the ten-dive Niveau 2 programme. Both are reachable with Noa Plongée's boat, the LE NOA.
