Niveau 1
Proposé par NOA Plongée
SAINT-FRANCOIS, Guadeloupe
Description du Cours
The Niveau 1 at Noa Plongée is the first full scuba certification under FFESSM/ANMP, and it's built around two distinct phases that mix lagoon practice with open-water exploration. Five dives in total, plus theory sessions back at the club after the dives.
The first three dives take place in the Saint-François lagoon in the afternoons (14:00–16:00), working along the coral reef barrier. Each session combines skill exercises with a proper exploration segment — not just pool drills. The last two dives are morning bi-plongées, departing at 7:30 and returning by 12:00, with a 45-minute surface interval and snacks on board. These two dives are open-water exploration dives to consolidate everything learned in the lagoon.
On completion, you can dive from 0 to 20 metres within a group of up to four divers supervised by a monitor. You receive a Niveau 1 card and a logbook. The minimum age is 12 years, and autonomy (diving without a monitor) only applies from Niveau 2 onwards.
A medical certificate of no contraindication issued within the last year is compulsory. The club's lead instructor Jean-Christian ROTGER holds BEES1/MF1 DEJEPS and is also a PADI Staff Instructor and SSI Instructor, so the training quality is consistent regardless of which agency pathway you prefer.
