Snorkel Diver Training

The SSI Snorkeling program at El Mar Diving Center is your accessible gateway to the underwater world, designed for individuals aged 10 and above. This foundational course is often the initial step for those considering future freediving or scuba diving certifications, equipping you with essential knowledge and skills for safe and enjoyable exploration of marine environments using just a snorkel.

During this program, you will engage in comprehensive classroom instruction and practical pool sessions. Digital learning materials will guide you through safe snorkeling techniques and basic underwater observation. The curriculum is structured to build confidence and competence, ensuring you can appreciate shallow water ecosystems responsibly. Upon successful completion, you will receive a digital SSI Snorkeling certification card.

To participate, you must be at least 10 years old and complete a medical statement, which may require a doctor's signature depending on your health history. Participants are required to provide their own mask, snorkel, and fins. The course fee is set at $149.00 USD.
