Formations Nitrox

Two dives, covering enriched-air mixtures up to 40% oxygen. Teaches the principles of oxygen toxicity limits, adjusted no-decompression times, and the practical benefits of nitrox on bottom time and surface interval management. Useful on any dive where you want more time at depth before hitting NDL limits.

Diving around Porquerolles and Port-Cros on nitrox rather than air makes a measurable difference at 20–30 m — you get more minutes on the reef structures or inside the shallower sections of the wrecks. The training is done in the Mediterranean, so conditions are familiar rather than abstract pool exercises.

Nitrox certification is a prerequisite for the Diluant Air rEvo formation (combined with Niveau 2 / PA40), so for divers eyeing technical CCR diving this course is a practical stepping stone rather than a standalone add-on.
